Got Questions? We've Got Answers
What is DexIQ?
DexIQ is a financial operations platform that automates inbox driven finance work. It processes emails, invoices, purchase orders, supplier queries and other document driven tasks that absorb time and create noise in finance teams. DexIQ learns like a person but performs like a system, delivering accuracy, speed and control at scale.
What does DexIQ automate?
DexIQ manages shared finance inboxes, automates accounts payable workflows, captures and validates documents, resolves supplier queries, routes work for approval and assists with reconciliations. Any workflow that begins in an inbox or involves repetitive data extraction and validation can be automated.
Who is DexIQ designed for?
DexIQ is built for mid market finance teams with growing transaction volumes, shared inboxes, and high volumes of finance administrative work.
How DexIQ pricing works?
How is DexIQ priced
DexIQ gives finance leaders two advantages at once: you only pay for work completed, and you can keep your monthly spend predictable.
Many CFOs prefer to lock in a fixed budget even as their workload grows. To support this, DexIQ offers annual credit commitments. You pre-purchase a year’s worth of credits at a discounted rate and use them as your workload requires. Your annual commitment is then amortised into a flat monthly amount, giving you predictable spend while still paying only for outcomes.
This means you get the flexibility of an outcome-based model without the volatility of usage-based billing. If your business grows, DexIQ absorbs the increased activity inside the credit pool you have already secured. If your volumes change, we review and adjust your annual commitment at renewal or when you are close to utilising all your credits.
CFOs get both: a cost structure aligned to labour avoided and a budgeting model that stays flat, controlled and predictable month to month.
What counts as usage?
Usage is measured in credits, which represent units of operational finance work. Examples include processing an invoice, validating supplier details, triaging an email, resolving a supplier query or preparing a document for approval. Complex workflows consume more credits and simple tasks consume fewer.
Why credits rather than seats?
Credits map to the work DexIQ performs and the labour it replaces, making cost predictable and aligned with the value delivered.
How do I know how many credits I need?
DexIQ provides a usage dashboard showing live consumption, projected spend and historical patterns. You will quickly see how your transaction volumes translate into credit usage. For most customers, this stabilises within the first month.
How do I control spend?
You can set usage thresholds, receive alerts at defined levels or apply a soft cap to ensure predictable monthly billing. This prevents unexpected spend and provides full cost control.
What happens if a task fails or needs rework?
If DexIQ cannot complete a workflow because of missing data or an exception, it will not consume credits for unproductive attempts. Only completed automated work is billed.
How long does onboarding take?
Most customers are fully operational within 24-48 hours. DexIQ connects to your finance inboxes, your accounting system and your workflow preferences. The platform is designed to work with your existing processes rather than replace them.
What is required from our team?
Your team provides inbox access, accounting system authorisation, basic workflow rules and a small sample of documents for validation. No technical expertise is required.
Will DexIQ disrupt our current process?
No. DexIQ runs alongside your current workflows and replaces manual processing over time. Approvals and exceptions remain under your control.
How about security, privacy and data governance?
All production data for DexIQ is stored in Australia. DexIQ uses access controls, encryption in transit, permissions, logging, monitoring and secure development practices.
DexIQ does not train cross customer or foundation models using your data. Any learning is limited to your organisation and is de-identified. DexIQ may use third-party tools such as OCR or LLM services to perform specific functions, but only the minimum necessary data is shared, and these providers are contractually restricted from using your data for training.
Do we keep control over approvals?
Yes. DexIQ prepares and routes work, but you approve all financial outcomes. Exceptions are escalated, and every action is logged, highlighting risk areas within your finance workflows.
Can we customise workflow rules?
Yes. You can tailor routing logic, approval paths, supplier handling and exception rules to match your operating practices. These can be updated at any time. DexIQ in time can digest your internal Delegations of Authority and Policy documents and apply the requirements to your workflows, increasing your internal compliance.
